Located in central Kansas, our outfitter here manages over 15,000 acres of prime habitat for Whitetail deer and Rio Grande turkeys. Due to superior genetics, sound game management and ideal habitat, the bucks here grow to very healthy proportions and it is not uncommon to have seasonal averages exceeding 145”. Recent years have produced numerous bucks over 170 gross Boone & Crockett points, so the opportunity for a truly giant, fair-chase whitetail definitely exists.
Rifle and muzzleloader hunts regularly have success rates of close to 100%, with archery hunts running a very respectable 60-65% rate of success. Archery hunts take place from ladder stands and lock-ons that have climbing sticks, with ground blinds also being utilized. Most of the rifle hunts take place from fully enclosed and very comfortable tower blinds, with muzzleloaders being most effective by spot & stalk hunting in the sorghum and soybean fields.
Modern ranch house accommodations and home cooked meals are all part of these full-service packages. The hunting area is loaded with Rio Grande turkeys and the spring gobbler hunts are nothing short of phenomenal. This outfitter gets a lot of repeat bookings, so making reservations well in advance is highly recommended.
Hunts are priced at $4,500 for archery and $4,900 for rifle or muzzleloader. Archery or shotgun turkey hunts are priced at $1,300. All deer hunts are for 5 full days and turkey hunts (limit 2 gobblers) are for 3 full days.
Archery deer Sept 14 – December 31; Muzzleloader deer Sept 14 – Sept 27; Rifle deer Dec 2 – Dec 13. Spring turkey seasons are April 6-14 archery only and April 15 – May 31 for firearms/archery.

Deer tags in Kansas are on a lottery basis, but we never have any problem getting them. The application deadline is April 30 and the drawing takes place between June 15 – July 15. The cost of a deer tag is approximately $321 and a non-resident hunting license is $71. Non-resident turkey licenses are easily available on-line at approximately $70 for 2 tags.
