With humble beginnings as a Wyoming big game outfitter and fly fishing guide service in 1980, Five Star Expeditions has grown and evolved into one of the most respected and experienced hunting & fishing consulting agencies on the planet.

 

True to our roots, we continue to operate our Wyoming outfitting business today, consistently producing some of the best big game hunts and fly fishing trips available in that great state. And like many of our clients, we discovered early on that there were lots of other wonderful places in this world for hunting, fishing and exploring.

 

The lure of far-flung destinations and exciting sporting adventures was in our blood and by the late 80’s we were regularly arranging trips for our growing list of clients and accompanying them on these great adventures. We have hunted, fished and traveled throughout all of North America, Central America, South America, Africa, Europe, Asia and the Pacific Rim. Currently, we represent a worldwide network of the very best outfitters, guides, lodges and professional hunters in more than 38 countries and on 6 continents.

 

For many of us, hunting & fishing trips are a serious commitment of both time and money. As avid sportsmen ourselves, we fully understand this and that’s why we’re so careful with every trip that we book; every customer that we serve; and every outfitter that we represent. While we are a gathering of professional outfitters, guides and sporting travel consultants, we are first and foremost outdoorsmen. Quite simply, if you aren’t truly passionate about hunting, fishing and outstanding customer service, there is no place for you at Five Star Expeditions.

 

The sporting travel industry is very dynamic, with things constantly changing and new venues flourishing, as others wither and decline. We keep in constant contact with our outfitters and regularly receive comprehensive reports from the many clients that we send afield each year. Our hands-on experience as professional outfitters and guides, along with our regular participation in personal hunting and fishing adventures, allows us to objectively evaluate destinations and operations.

Unlike some of the giant corporate agencies, or even some of the bigger lodges & outfitters, we are not burdened with annual revenue goals or monthly sales quotas. We are professional outfitters, guides and consultants – not salesmen. We are here to consult with you and provide the very best possible advice and service that we can.

 

If we don’t have a trip that meets your goals, desires, interests and budget, we will tell you that. We would much rather walk away from a booking, than to put you in a place or a time that we wouldn’t want for ourselves. All of our expert consulting and service is free to you, our valued customer. You will always pay exactly the same price booking through us, as you would by going directly through the outfitter. We never, ever mark trips up or add fees to the outfitter’s regular pricing. If discounts or specials are offered, we will always pass these savings along to you.
